Most people can learn the framework and skills in 1-2 sessions/classes, but we find it takes at least 3 sessions/classes to develop a strong practice.

The mindfulness skills require no special equipment or clothing. The movement skills only require clothes that allow easy movement and enough floor space to lay with the legs extended comfortably.

For most people we recommend practicing at least three times per week for optimal benefits. With professional evaluation, we can individualize a practice plan for your health status and wellbeing goals.

Is The Resilience Toolkit intended for trauma healing?

The Toolkit is a good first step and supports trauma healing, but it is not the same as trauma healing. The Toolkit is intended to calm stress, regulate emotions, and build resilience. This is the first step in trauma healing when someone needs to feel more stable before facing traumatic memories and experiences. The ability to regulate strong feelings will help trauma healing be more successful.

Many of TRE LA’s staff also provide trauma healing services in addition to facilitating The Toolkit skills.

A Certified Toolkit Facilitator teaches people how to use The Toolkit for personal use.
